The Slowtourism in the Greater Region project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, aims to create a cross-border cycling tourism destination, promoting soft mobility and carbon-free tourism. Coordinated by Interreg Grande Region, it focuses on improving cycling infrastructure, training tourism stakeholders and enhancing the promotion of natural and cultural sites. Running from April 2024 to April 2028, its expected outcomes include better cycling routes, increased tourism activity and a more sustainable tourism model (The original piece available only in French).
