The SUM project, published by CIVITAS, aims to transform urban mobility by integrating novel shared mobility systems with public transport in over 15 European cities by 2026, with a broader target of reaching 30 cities by 2030. Running from June 2023 to May 2026, the project focuses on intermodality, sustainability, safety, and resilience to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve urban transportation. It involves developing technological, co-creation, and policy tools to overcome barriers to strong integration of shared mobility systems and public transport.
