TOURing is a strategic initiative designed to transform tourism micro and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) by emphasizing the importance of upskilling in green and digital competencies. In response to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project seeks to establish a resilient tourism sector that prioritizes economic viability, environmental sustainability, and digital integration. The initiative aims to enhance the ability of tourism micro and SMEs to anticipate future skills needs, enabling them to adapt and recover from disruptions. It offers targeted training for managers and owners, equipping them with the skills necessary to navigate evolving market demands. Additionally, TOURing is dedicated to developing customized training programs that address the specific needs of staff within these enterprises, fostering a workforce capable of driving sustainable practices.
