The TOURISMO project, funded by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, runs from February 2024 to October 2026, focusing on enhancing the sustainability and quality of tourism in the Mediterranean. It aims to address the persistent challenges of overtourism in the Mediterranean region by using innovative technologies to monitor and manage tourist flows. The initiative highlights the development of a monitoring and decision-making support management structure, tested in eight pilot sites, to improve the tourist experience and promote sustainable tourism.
