As a result of a 2-year EU funded project “Make twin transition – how to enhance the social dialogue on the twin transition in the commerce sector”, UNI Europa proposes a toolkit with guidelines and recommendations for UNI Europa Commerce affiliates. The aim is to help them develop a joint understanding of the sector’s risks, opportunities, challenges, needs, specific changes in employment, skills needs, the drivers of change and promote inclusive ways of addressing the specific changes linked to the twin transition in the commerce sector.

In 2025 UNI Europa Commerce will, with the support of the European Worker Participation Found, organise a two-day in person training for 15 Process Coordinators based on the toolkit to support the affiliates in their strategic decision-making process on the twin transition, as well as in the implementation of strategies, their assessment and revision process.

The training aims also to help raise awareness and improve the understanding of employers, workers and their representatives of the risks, opportunities and challenges in the world of work resulting from the green and digital transition.
