This Directive aims to establish a minimum level of protection against unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships within the agricultural and food supply chain across the European Union. It addresses power imbalances between buyers and suppliers and introduces mandatory prohibitions and enforcement mechanisms to ensure fairer commercial conduct.
