The eight-year loan will support new developments, upgrades and expansion of green retail assets, primarily in Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Hungary. The financing is aligned with green bond and green loan principles, requiring projects to meet recognised green building certification standards or deliver measurable improvements in energy performance and decarbonisation.
Beyond physical investment, the project includes a multi-year training programme for more than 300 employees, covering digital, AI, cybersecurity and environmental-management skills, reflecting a broader shift toward data-driven and sustainable asset management in the retail real estate sector.
