The National Strategy for Romania's Tourism Development 2019–2030 is a comprehensive strategy aimed at improving the nation's tourism sector, released in 2018. It was created based on a quick evaluation of the Romanian travel and tourism sector carried out in 2018 and revised in 2022. The primary goals of the strategy include understanding the existing state of the tourism industry, spotting opportunities and challenges, outlining a vision for growth, and developing a plan of action to reach these goals. It aims to strengthen Romania's economy, make it more competitive, and encourage the development of sustainable tourism. (The original piece available only in Romanian)
