The Danube Region Programme 2021-2027 aims to enhance political integration and cohesion across the Danube region through transnational projects. It focuses on promoting competitiveness, environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and governance among the 14 participating countries. With a budget of approximately €224.6 million, the program was approved by the European Commission in November 2022 and is funded by various EU instruments (The original available only in German).
