This Horizon Europe call focuses on advancing recycling technologies for mixed post-consumer textile waste, particularly textile products made from blended fibres such as polycotton and other combinations of synthetic, semi-synthetic, and natural materials. The initiative aims to support innovative fibre-to-fibre recycling solutions that improve circularity, reduce waste, and strengthen sustainable resource management across the European textile sector.

The call is aimed at research organisations, universities, industry stakeholders, recyclers, technology providers, SMEs, and cross-sector consortia capable of developing and demonstrating scalable recycling technologies and circular solutions for textile waste streams. Projects are expected to contribute to improved collection, sorting, characterisation, and recycling of post-consumer textiles, while also supporting the EU’s broader circular economy and sustainability objectives. The topic falls under Horizon Innovation Actions, encouraging collaborative and market-oriented innovation activities.

The submission deadline is 17 September 2026. Interested applicants and consortia are encouraged to review the complete topic description, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
