EIT Culture & Creativity has launched the New Ventures in Creative Tech (Spark Incubation) open call to support early-stage founders developing technology-driven solutions in the cultural and creative sectors. The initiative aims to help individuals and multidisciplinary teams turn validated business concepts into legally established, viable and scalable ventures, with a focus on fashion and architecture, particularly materials innovation and the built environment.

The call is open to individuals and multidisciplinary teams developing for-profit business concepts that are already being tested, built or validated, rather than remaining at the idea stage. Applicants must be based in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe-associated country and propose a technology-centric solution involving materials innovation, hardware or digital technology. Selected participants will take part in a two-to-three-day in-person startup sprint, followed by a nine-month online incubation programme offering coaching, mentorship, workshops, technology partnerships and networking opportunities. Selected ventures must establish a new legal entity by the third month of the programme.

The call has a total funding allocation of €1.05 million and expects to support up to 35 business concepts, with funding of up to €30,000 per selected venture. Applications opened on 6 October 2026 and close on 16 November 2026 at 17:00 CET. The programme is expected to begin in March 2027 and run until December 2027. Interested applicants should consult the full call guidelines for eligibility criteria, application documents and submission requirements.
