Next Technology Tecnotessile pledges to support textile companies in evaluating and improving the environmental and economic performance of their products and processes through Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) methodologies, i.e. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Costing (LCC), Techno-Economic Assessment (TEA), and circularity assessments. Drawing on its expertise in environmental sustainability and applied research, the centre will help manufacturers identify environmental impacts, resource consumption, emissions, and costs throughout the product life cycle, while assessing the technical and economic feasibility of more sustainable and circular solutions. By December 2027, Next Technology Tecnotessile commits to completing at least five integrated sustainability and circularity assessments for five textile companies, applying the most appropriate methodologies according to each company's needs and objectives.
