OMIMAI pledges to establish an optimised process chain and infrastructure for the local manufacturing of individual clothing, enabling the best possible use of existing resources, such as materials, production capacity, technology and knowledge.
OMIMAI aims to foster resilient economic, environmental, social and cultural systems through individual clothing production, while promoting local value creation, reuse, circularity, transparency and ethical practices within the apparel industry.
- Target 1: zero production of not actively ordered, not wanted, not needed, excessive, not expected, not fitting and/or random clothing/fashion.
- Target 2: Distance from garment production (make and trim) to final destination < 75 km for 80% of orders
- Target 3: small-scale in-house on-demand fabric production (knits and/or non-wovens) and 3D-printed trims for three whole garments.
