RÜTEX pledges to accelerate the green transition of the European textiles ecosystem by enabling the adoption of next-generation, renewable, biodegradable and circular textile materials. Through market access, industry partnerships and innovation projects, Rütex aims to support innovative solutions such as naNea by OceanSafe, alongside European post-consumer recycled-content materials and closed-loop and open-loop textile solutions through RÜTEX 360, connecting innovative materials with European spinners, weavers, knitters, manufacturers and brands.
By end of this year 2026, Rütex aims to actively support at least 50 tons recycled European post consumer waste into new textile durable products trials, knowledge exchange and collaborative initiatives that help bring sustainable material innovations from development to commercial textile applications.
By strengthening collaboration across the value chain, Rütex aims to contribute to a more circular, resource-efficient, innovative and competitive European textile ecosystem.
