The Goethe-Live-3D project, coordinated by the Bauhaus-Universität, aimed to develop, realise and evaluate innovative concepts for hybrid museums. Running from July 2021 to June 2024, the initiative focused on creating immersive experiences by linking real-world and virtual reality for both local and remote visitors. In result, it has successfully developed a digital twin of the Goethe-Wohnhaus and various interactive technologies, enhancing accessibility and engagement with cultural heritage through immersive technologies. For a detailed overview of objectives, motivation, challenges, benefits, outcomes and funding, please refer to the attached link (The original piece available only in German).
