The European Green Pioneer of Smart Tourism is an EU competition led by the European Commission, aimed at recognizing and rewarding smaller European destinations that have successfully implemented sustainable tourism strategies through green transition practices. Jurmala, Latvia, is among the seven countries recognized for the 2025 competition.
