In June 2024, Ireland saw 16.2 thousand flights, according to Fáilte Ireland. As of July 1, 2024, there were 49 airlines operating in Ireland, with Ryanair and Aer Lingus providing over half of all seats—40.8% and 27.0%, respectively.During the week of June 17-23, 2024, the air travel capacity reached 654,064 seats across 3,783 flights, serviced by 48 airlines over 358 routes within the Island of Ireland. Maritime transport also contributed with 109 one-way sailings, providing a passenger capacity of 130,940 via 7 routes.
