According to Eurostat, during the second quarter of 2024, the number of nights booked via online platforms in the EU increased by 16.2% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 208.8 million nights. While April saw a slight decline, May and June experienced significant growth, with Malta leading the increase in June at 45.8%. This data highlights the continued recovery and growth of the short-term rental market in Europe.
