According to the latest data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, in 2022, Slovenian travel agencies organized a total of 335,173 overnight stays for foreign travelers, with 90,932 tourists benefiting from their services. Among foreign countries, the highest demand came from travelers originating in Germany, Austria, and the USA. However, when compared to 2019, the value of these overnight stays was only half as much. In 2019, Slovenian travel agencies facilitated 759,988 overnight stays for 196,261 tourists, indicating a significant decline in demand for travel agent services.
