According to the EU Tourism Dashboard, the average share of tourism ecosystem enterprises providing information and communication technology training to their personnel in EU countries decreased from 13.0% in 2019 to 9.9% in 2022. While some countries saw minimal change, others made significant progress. For instance, Poland’s investment in integrating and upgrading digital competences increased from 10% in 2019 to 22.6%, and Croatia’s rose from 7.7% to 18.9%. These positive shifts indicate a move toward digitalization in these destinations.
