In 2023, the number of people using holiday reservation services for foreign passive trips in Slovakia reached a record high of 825,470, the highest since data has been available. Turkey and Greece were the most popular destinations for passive tourism, together accounting for 39.2% of all organized trips. In contrast, active organized tourism has not fully recovered from the pandemic, reaching only 58.9% of its 2019 level.
