In the Czech Republic, public bus transport is the most widely used mode of passenger transportation. During the fourth quarter of 2023, 61.7% of passengers opted for buses. However, rail transport is also popular, with 36.4% of passengers choosing trains over other modes. Notably, rail transport accounted for the highest passenger-kilometers among all modes.
