In Finland, the peak months for stays booked via international platforms are July and August. In July 2023, there were 89,965 stays in short-stay accommodations, followed by 70,564 in August. This trend is also seen in domestic tourism, with July and August being the most popular months. However, for foreign travelers, December 2023 was the most popular month with 32,400 stays, followed by August. In 2019, the preferred months for stays were more varied, and the numbers were significantly lower than in 2023.
