Based on the most recent data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, out of the 149,804 available bedplaces in accommodations across Slovenia as of April 2024, private accommodations (such as rented rooms and dwellings) account for 28.3% of the total. Hotels also make up a significant portion at 28.0%. During the same period, tourists spent the majority of their nights in hotels (53.9% of all nights spent), while mountain huts saw the least amount of overnight stays (0.2%). The Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia offers freely accessible detailed data through its public statistical database, allowing users to select indicators for analysis and explore Slovenia’s tourism data.
