Residents constitute the majority of demand for accommodation establishments in the Czech Republic. In 2023, domestic travelers accounted for 56.5% of the total demand for accommodations in the country. Overall, the total number of guests in tourist accommodations nearly reached pre-pandemic levels, when the number of visitors to the country was at its peak.
