The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union issued the Directive on November 23, 2022, which aims to improve the gender balance among directors of listed companies. It establishes procedural requirements for selecting candidates based on transparency and merit, with the goal of achieving equal opportunities between women and men in top management positions.
