The European Commission presented its proposal in November 2023 for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on passenger rights in the context of multimodal travel This legal change supports the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy, which was approved by the Commission in 2020, by providing incentives for the use of group transportation. Enhancing travel experiences, advancing sustainability, and putting the Green Deal into action are the primary goals.
