The Lombardy Regional Authority, in collaboration with Arge Alp international Working Community, proudly announces the publication of the “Operational Indications for Inclusive Ski Resorts in the Alpine Area.” This landmark document, part of the Ski-Ability Project, is a testament to the commitment towards making alpine ski resorts accessible to people with disabilities.

The guidelines underscore the importance of sports activities in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, contributing to their physical, psychological, and relational wellbeing. By challenging societal isolation and marginalization, the project showcases how thoughtful design and support in sports can lead to meaningful improvements in life quality.

The publication is the culmination of collaboration between regional authorities, third sector bodies, sports operators, and citizens—a collective commitment that transcends public policies and demonstrates social responsibility. It illustrates inclusion as a shared responsibility demanding vision, continuity, and networking capacities.
