According to the Bulgarian News Agency, Bulgaria joined Mastercard’s Tourism Innovation Hub in March 2025. This global centre, headquartered in Madrid, is dedicated to advancing tourism through sustainable and intelligent digital economy solutions, helping cities and countries attract more visitors. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Tourism, Miroslav Borshosh, and Nicola Villa, Mastercard’s Executive Vice President for Public Sector Strategic Growth. The partnership aims to accelerate the digital transformation of Bulgaria’s tourism industry.
