Czech Republic rolls out nationwide accessible-tourism programme

Working with regional tourism organisations, CzechTourism's new programme aims to make travel easier for visitors with mobility restrictions and other accessibility needs, combining infrastructure upgrades with digital tools for trip planning. Coverage extends beyond the capital, with spa towns such as Karlovy Vary and historic centres such as Olomouc highlighted among destinations improving accessible facilities.

The initiative reflects a wider European trend towards inclusive tourism, aligning with the Transition Pathway for Tourism's work on accessible tourism services.
