Greece's new initiative to boost cycling tourism

According to Travel and Tour World (TTW), on 15 January 2025, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, along with other ministries, signed an agreement to promote cycling tourism in Greece, strengthening the EuroVelo National Coordination Centre’s role in promoting sustainable travel. This initiative aims to improve Greece’s three EuroVelo routes and incorporate them into the national tourism strategy, fostering economic growth and sustainable mobility.
