AViTeM - Agence des Villes et Territoires Méditerranéens Durables, is spearheading an innovative initiative to enhance sustainability in the hospitality sector across Europe and the Mediterranean. Through EU territorial cooperation projects with diverse partners, AViTeM aims to leverage behavioural science to develop smarter resource utilization and foster responsible hospitality practices. By 2025/2030, they plan to produce and test solutions addressing circularity in hospitality, targeting optimal water and energy usage, reduced plastic reliance, and minimized food waste. These innovations will be shared with policymakers for potential integration into public policy and hospitality professionals for practical application.
