The Laptops and Lighthouses (LAL) project is an innovative cross-border initiative aimed at promoting sustainable tourism in the South Baltic region. By fusing digital narratives with real-world exploration, LAL enhances the visibility of lesser-known cultural and natural sites across Poland, Germany, Lithuania, and Sweden.
This project, funded by the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021–2027, leverages interactive mobile guides and multimedia platforms to bring history and culture to life, supporting local economies and strengthening regional identity. By encouraging exploration beyond established tourist centers, LAL aims to foster community engagement, promote low-impact visitation, and reinforce cultural ties among neighboring countries.
Explore how this collaboration is setting a new standard in tourism innovation by visiting our full post for more detailed information.
