On 22 June 2025, Spain’s Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, unveiled a new TurEspaña campaign centred on sustainability, inland tourism, and territorial diversity.

As reported by The Diplomat in Spain, the initiative follows a record-breaking year in 2024 and aims to transition from mass tourism to a more balanced, high-value model. The campaign is scheduled for international launch in autumn 2025, showcasing Spain’s diverse landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and commitment to sustainable tourism practices.
