The European Commission is launching an extensive information campaign to prepare travelers for the new Entry/Exit System (EES), a cutting-edge IT system scheduled to begin operations on October 12, 2025. The EES will technologically enhance border procedures across 29 European countries, transforming the entry and exit processes for short-stay visits of non-EU nationals.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with the European Data Protection Supervisor and national authorities, aims to bolster security by minimizing irregular immigration and identity fraud.
Campaign materials, available in multiple languages, are being disseminated widely at travel hubs and online.
For more detailed information and campaign resources, visit the official EES website. Delve into the full article to explore how this transformative changes will impact your future travels to Europe!
