The Vienna Tourist Board has unveiled its visionary 2025 strategy, designed to foster a sustainable visitor economy while enhancing quality of life in this historic city. By October 2021, Vienna committed to a bold plan that transcends simple visitor growth, emphasizing the importance of placemaking, smart solutions, and strengthening its reputation as a top meeting destination. Utilizing the innovative “Viennese Strategy Diamond,” the policy adopts a holistic approach encompassing not only tourists but students, business travelers, and day visitors too.
As Vienna focuses on premium quality, cosmopolitanism, and digital humanism, the strategy underscores the city’s dedication to balancing economic impact with environmental and social goals.
