Within the framework of the FU-TOURISM project, we seek to strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector, through better adoption of the principles and practices of sustainability, innovation, and digitalization.
This will be achieved by applying regenerative economic principles, combined with advanced digitalization capabilities, and by focusing on people-centered technology, as well as developing new business models for tourism agents.
Among the activities focused on digitalization that will be carried out transversally during the project (September 2023-September 2026), the following stand out:
- To train at least 300 SMEs of the tourism sector that have no or little knowledge about sustainability and digitalization.
- Facilitation of synergies and creation of networks between tourism SMEs to develop new innovative projects in sustainable and digital tourism.
- Creation of a basic training program for the green and digital transition of SMEs.
