The AccessibleEU Resource Centre offers a free online training course from Monday, 11 November, to Sunday, 22 December. It provides a comprehensive introduction to accessibility principles in the built environment, targeting architects, engineers, interior designers, professors, public administration officials, policymakers, students, advocacy group members, business managers, and private individuals.
The course is structured into nine modules, covering topics such as accessibility in the built environment, universal design, the benefits of accessibility, user diversity, legal frameworks, standards and guidelines, procurement, strategic planning, tools, and stakeholder engagement. This training aims to foster a deeper understanding of how to create environments that are welcoming and accessible to all users.
