Made in Europe topics run across most Cluster 4 Industry calls, and EFFRA regularly organises members' pitching events ahead of each call deadline to help project ideas find partners. A concrete example: ahead of the 'AI improved advanced manufacturing and production processes in factories' topic (run under the Made in Europe and ADRA partnerships), EFFRA held a members-only online Made in Europe Pitching Event on 27 January 2026, letting companies present project ideas and find partners for that specific topic before the 17 March 2026 first-stage deadline. A companion session on 22 January covered materials and circularity topics. EFFRA runs this kind of topic-specific, online pitching session ahead of most Made in Europe calls, not only this one – follow the Platform to learn about the upcoming opportunities. EFFRA's membership recently rallied more than 80 organisations behind a joint position paper calling for stronger funding for manufacturing research in the next EU Framework Programme.
