Green Mantis runs an innovation support scheme for net-zero technologies, whose first Open Call, running March to June 2026, drew 64 applications from consortia in more than 30 countries and selected 10 beneficiaries for up to EUR 100,000 in equity-free funding each, with project execution starting in October 2026 and a second call planned for the first half of 2027, open to more mature projects at Technology Readiness Level 6-8. MANTRA, focused specifically on six manufacturing subsectors including machinery, connects SMEs with technology providers and business support organisations through a four-stage pathway, assessment, matchmaking, advisory services and implementation, covering both digital technologies (AI, robotics, IoT, advanced materials, advanced manufacturing technologies) and circular business model support such as life cycle assessment and greenhouse gas calculations, alongside up to EUR 50,000 in direct funding per company. For a manufacturing SME already engaging with one programme, the partnership means smoother referral into the other's complementary services, energy-focused net-zero technology adoption through Green Mantis, or broader digital and circular transformation support through MANTRA, rather than navigating each initiative separately.
