Chloé Gallien is the Head of European Affairs and Partnerships at Groupe SOS, a major non-profit force of social cohesion in France, in Europe and worldwide. Groupe SOS is mainly active in the fields of solidarity, youth, health, and senior citizens, managing facilities for marginalized people, as well as day-care centers, hospitals, and nursing homes open to all. Groupe SOS is convinced that these activities should not be profit-driven.

As an Ambassador of the EU Platform for PSE, they see several strategic opportunities to strengthen the impact of the social economy in Europe. First, this role enables them to promote a favorable political and regulatory framework for social economy enterprises and organizations, highlighting their contribution to a just and sustainable transition. Additionally, it serves as a key lever to reinforce synergies between public and private actors, facilitate access to funding, and foster social innovation at both local and European levels.

Their thematic priority focuses on social inclusion and employment, with particular emphasis on the professional integration of people in vulnerable situations. They will also prioritize the development of a socially responsible economic ecosystem by fostering cooperation between social economy enterprises, local authorities, and European institutions.
