Case study about Tenute di Paganico Società Agricola, a large farm located in the hinterland of the province of Grosseto in Tuscany, boasts diverse agricultural activities, including cereal cultivation, vineyards, olive trees, and semi-wild breeding of native cattle and pigs. Strategically positioned near major cities like Siena and Florence, the agrotourism attracts tourists seeking an authentic rural experience, with activities ranging from guided farm tours to truffle hunting experiences. Despite challenges such as dispersed facilities and marketing complexities, Tenute di Paganico maintains a strong identity through direct sales, sustainability practices, and innovative experiential activities, positioning itself as a model for integrating agriculture and tourism. Presented by STAY project in 2022.
