CEnTOUR, a COSME initiative operational from September 2020 to September 2023, aimed to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector in transitioning to circular business models. This was achieved through knowledge transfer, skill development, innovation, and certifications within integrated local development systems. The project sought to enhance the capacity of SMEs to adopt sustainable practices, with a particular emphasis on waste reduction in the food sector, promoting plastic-free alternatives, rethinking packaging, and fostering collaborative consumption.
