The 2021 "Sustainable Travel Report" from Booking.com shows that tourists are more dedicated than ever to thoughtful travel. Two-thirds state that the pandemic influenced them to prioritize sustainable travel in the future. Almost half have shifted their attitudes toward positive changes, focusing on recycling and reducing food waste at home. To boost visibility of sustainable stay options, Booking.com now displays third-party certifications and details on impactful practices at properties worldwide. Report offers insightful information about traveller opinions, travel behaviours, and obstacles to environmentally friendly travel. The travel industry can make wise decisions, encourage ethical behaviour, and improve the entire travel experience for passengers and destinations by being aware of these trends.
