The Intelligent Cities Challenge (ICC) is one of the largest initiatives of the European Commission. It aimed at fostering intelligent, socially responsible, and sustainable growth through advanced technologies, involves 136 cities across the European Union. The project provides advanced knowledge and consulting services to cities and their local economies, focusing on two primary objectives: transitioning to a net-zero economic model and promoting sustainable development for EU citizens. The aim of the project is to provide enhanced support to the network of intelligent cities, enabling them to harness the power of emerging technologies.
