The STAY project, which has been co-funded by the European Union since 2022, has identified a case study of Polona Virnik Karničar's tourist farm and camp, Šenkova domačija, which is located in Jezersko, Gorenjska, Slovenia. The farm was founded in 2011 with a primary concentration on camping and picnics. In 2014, it expanded to include rooms and flats, and in 2019 it underwent further expansion. The Šenk Homestead, which has been designated as a cultural monument since 1949, has undergone significant restorations and reopened as a tourist farm with a variety of lodging options, including rooms, apartments, and a camping. Remarkable for its eco-friendly methods, the farm is certified with the Slovenia Green Label and the Green Key, highlighting organic farming and regional food.
