The Matijovc Tourist Farm (Pr´ Matijovc), located in the picturesque village of Podbrezje within the municipality of Naklo, Gorenjska region, has been a beacon of Slovenian hospitality since 1995. The STAY project, co-funded by the European Union since 2022, has uncovered a case study of this establishment. The farm's successful agrotourism endeavour is complemented by its expertise in fruit farming and processing. The farm, which switched from dairy farming to tourism in 2012, currently has six contemporary guest suites and camping amenities. It is a peaceful haven that has received four apples, which is a testament to its excellence. With its unique blend of comfort, real farm experiences, and locally grown produce sales, Matijovc Farm is a prime example of sustainable rural tourism, guaranteeing year-round memorable visits.
