Nestled in the pilgrimage village of Brezje on the outskirts of Slovenia, the Tominc - Frelih Tourist Farm attracts a broad array of foreign guests seeking proximity to Bled and other area attractions. This is the subject of a case study by the STAY project, which has been co-funded by the European Union since 2022. The farm has been a popular tourist site since 2008, when it changed from being a dairy farm to an emphasis on organic fruits and vegetables. It is well-known for its handmade breakfast that features local food and participatory farm experiences. Under the management of Vid Frelih and his family, the farm hosts up to 15 guests in five rooms and is primarily a tourist destination, with tourism making up a large portion of their revenue.
