The REBOOT MED project, titled “Recovering, Experiencing and Boosting Eco-Tourism in the WestMed Area,” is a two-year initiative, which took place from September 2022 to August 2024. It aimed to revitalize coastal and maritime tourism in the Western Mediterranean post-COVID-19 with a focus on sustainable tourism to alleviate environmental pressures in the region. Its objectives include developing eco-tourism packages and policy recommendations, building capacity and raising awareness about sustainable tourism, and promoting cross-border and interregional cooperation.
