The Dovar Tourist Farm, located in the charming village of Ambrož pod Krvavcem, is the focus of a case study for the STAY project, which has been co-funded by the European Union since 2022. The Kuhar family runs the organic livestock farm, which mostly raises cows and sheep for meat production. They also do herbalism and beekeeping in addition to selling handmade goods like wood-fired bread and dried meat products. Cosy and environmentally sustainable, the rooms have natural furnishings and contemporary conveniences. The farm serves outdoor enthusiasts looking for peace and quiet, regional food, and outdoor pursuits like hiking and skiing. The Dovar Tourist Farm in Slovenia's Gorenjska region is a prime example of rural charm and all-encompassing tourism experiences, thanks to its dedication to sustainability and distinctive fusion of farming and hospitality.
